From April to June 2026, Makhmudov came to Shaanxi Vocational University of Agriculture and Forestry under the International Young Scientists Program administered by China’s Ministry of Science and Technology. His research focused on the cultivation and growth traits of edible medicinal plants across varying soil and climate conditions, pinpointing the ideal ecological zones for each species.

 2026年4月至6月，马赫卡莫夫通过中国科学技术部“国际杰青计划”来到陕西农林职业技术大学，围绕药食两用植物在不同土壤、气候条件下的种植与生长特性开展综合研究，分析出不同药食两用植物最适生态种植区。

 Over these past three months, turmeric, wild jujube, perilla, honeysuckle and other crops he’s tended to in Yangling have become his closest Chinese companions. 

 种在杨凌的姜黄、酸枣、紫苏、金银花等，都是最近三个月，他最亲密的“中国朋友”。 

 Makhkamov was appointed as Guest Professor of the College of Bioengineering,Shaanxi Agriculture and Forestry Technology University.

 马赫卡莫夫还被陕西农林职业技术大学聘为客座教授。
